View Full Version : Just in case Hill still thinks Kobe is close to MJ..
I am here to remind him that he is not even remotely close...
Michael Jordans career PER (regular season) - 27.9
Michael Jordans career PER (playoffs) - 28.6
Kobe Bryants career PER (regular season) - 23.5
Kobe Bryants career PER (playoffs) - 22.3
This here illuminates 2 major points. #1 - Michael Jordan was clearly a better career performer during the regular season. #2 - Not only does it show that MJ was a better PLAYOFF performer as well... it shows that he rose to a higher platform while Kobe's playoff performance has regressed.
Seasons with 30+ PER
Jordan - 4
Kobe - 0
Seasons with 28 - PER
Jordan - 7
Kobe - 1
Seasons with 25+ PER
Jordan - 12
Kobe - 3
Clearly shows Jordan's dominance
Percentage of 50+ point games against teams with winning records
Michael Jordan: 71%
Kobe Bryant: 35%
Had to put this up for Hill and his completely fucking retarded face rub of 81 and 63 point games that came against nobody... LOL @ 81 against the Raptors.

I would have liked to see the stats if nobody would have ever been crying about Kobe being a ball hog.
He used to put up them disgusting games A LOT before he started to try and be the ultimate teammate and get the rest of the losers involved.

Bullshit.... there was no connection to Jordan and NBA BETTING.. which is the ONLY reason he would have been bounced from the league.
Also, the secret would have leaked by Jerry Krause... Because Jordan and Krause absolutely hated each other.

LOL... let's entertain this comment in a little more detail...
Kobe had a 3 year head start on his NBA career unlike Mike..
Mike got bored with basketball and took a break to pursue other-worldly status as an athlete... and still came back to be the most dominant player ever..
Something Kobe, even with a 3 year head start, cannot afford to do as he only has a few more prime years left and is still way behind in his quest to come even remotely close to the man.

How this is even a discussion, argument or whatever is LOL to me. Kobe is NOT in the discussion with Jordan IMO.
Magic is still the best Laker ever and in the discussion with Jordan. Is Kobe even the 2nd best Laker of all time? What about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar?
