Donald Butler, MLB, Washington
6-1, 242 LBs, 4.8 40 yd dash, Projected Round: Late Round
Quote:
Washington's Donald Butler stood out as a run-stuffing middle linebacker that teams usually look for late in the draft. He attacked run plays from inside-out, finding his way to get to the ball carrier.

Phillip Dillard, LB, Nebraska
6-1, 240 LBs, 4.75 40 yd dash, Projected Round: Late Round
Quote:
Versatile LB who can stuff the run and play the pass. Solid instincts, negotiates trash and plays the game inside out. Good hitter and sound tackler. Strong and rugged. Runs better than he times and can play sideline-to-sideline. Closes quickly. Solid athlete who can run downfield in coverage and will break up passes. Solid blitzer...Given time, could surprise. Good football player.

Jacoby Ford, WR/KR, Clemson
5-10, 185 LBs, 4.35 40 yd dash, Projected Round: 4th Round
Quote:
Jacoby Ford is proving among the more secure handed receivers at the Senior Bowl this week - a bit of a surprise to some who had labeled as only a big play threat. Though short, the 5-09, 181 pound Ford has good strength to gain his release off press and has the speed to eat up the cushion. He has impressed scouts so far this week with his ability to adjust to poorly thrown passes and haul in tough catches.

Tyson Alualu, DT/DE, Cal
6-2, 295 LBs, 4.9 40 yd dash, Projected Round: 3rd Round
Quote:
He pumped up his teammates and was often the first to greet them after they made a play. His ability to play outside at 291 pounds will also endear him to line coaches around the league.

Blair White

After an NFL Combine performance that he felt was “average,” former MSU wide receiver Blair White took advantage of perhaps his final chance to showcase his skills Wednesday in front of a handful of NFL scouts at the MSU football team’s Pro Day at the Duffy Daugherty Football Building.

A handful of NFL teams sent scouts to East Lansing, including the Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.

LOL, yo, every player on this list is a height/weight/speed guy. It's to our advantage tho this year, cuz most of these players are pretty good, & the draft is full of good athletic players. I still think we'll fuck up a few rounds tho, hopefully not the top 3

you pretty much make your Mock draft off this list, cuz the Raiders usually draft the players they bring in. Just pick who has the height, weight, speed @ their position & that's probably the pick. lol, I'm dead serious

Yeah I read an article that explained what you just said. Just look at who comes to visit and that player has a better chance of being drafted by your team.

Like last year Heyward-Bey, Mike Mitchell and Louis Murphy came to visit.

I might have to re-think my mock draft. I'm not so sure about the Carlos Dunlap prediction now. I'm leaning more towards us taking Florida DE Jermaine Cunningham. He's an Al pick if ever seen one. I've stood by my Donald Butler (Washington) prediction of about 2 months now, & I still feel Butler will be our new MLB. What's a shocker to me is that there aren't any DB's on this list, other than Stevie Brown.

The only way we get Markice Pouncey is if we take him @8.

If the Raiders reach at 8 I would not mind Pouncey, since we struggle at evaluating talent on the exterior we could solidify the interior, or Brian Price. If we reach with the 2nd round pick would not mind Byers, more of a 3rd round guy with injury concerns, from USC or Wootton from NW.

I think people put a little too much faith in Gallery. Not that he isn't a solid starter, but he's turning 30 this year and has missed significant time the past couple seasons. That, and I'm pretty sure he had some hardcore surgery lately, like "cleaning out bone spurs from your spinal column" type surgery. I don't think he can be expected to consistently stay healthy in the coming years, so add LG to the laundry list of needs for this fucking team. :wait:

Draft more Linemen??? Shit, Al doesn't even know what a O-line is anymore. Your asking an awful lot from Al, lol. If that Gallery stuff is true, & he's become ineffective then we're in big trouble on that line. The way I see it, we need 3 new Linemen with healthy Robert Gallery. Without Gallery, we're the '06 line, maybe worse.

Duke University linebacker Vincent Rey has visited the New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Oakland Raiders, according to a source close to the program.

A second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection and a three-year starter, Rey has intrigued NFL scouts with his 4.54 to 4.58 speed in the 40-yard dash.

He visited the Jaguars and Giants last week and the Raiders on Wednesday, per our source.

At his March 22 campus Pro Day workout, the athletic 6-foot, 240-pounder registered a 38 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 10-6 broad jump.

He also bench pressed 225 pounds 20 times and turned in a 4.20 20-yard shuttle and a 6.79 three-cone drill.

Voted team captain last season, Rey recorded 98 tackles, 8 1/2 for losses, one sack and two interceptions.

As a junior, he was voted team captain and recorded 109 tackles, 10 1/2 for losses, two sacks and one interception. He scored two touchdowns.

As a sophomore, he posted 111 tackles, 8 1/2 for losses, 2 1/2 sacks.
