My 2 cousins and I go to the Nets/Heat game last night and go to pick up our tickets there, and somehow we got a ticket upgrade to the 2nd fuckin row, $750.00 seats. I guess because the nets are so terrible lol. So I brought a brown paper bag as a joke, not knowing we'd get such great seats. I didnt wanna wear it now since we got such good seats, but my cousin didn't care, and he basically wore it the whole time.
At some point in the game, the Nets CEO(not knowing who he was at the time) comes over and says: "Why are you wearing the hat?"(the bag lol)and my cousin says, "Because the Nets have 7 wins, they're awesome". He didn't like that so he called my cousin a fat piece of shit and ran off like a bitch.
This morning my cousin calls me and tells me there was a guy that's a friend of his family in the nets organization that gave him the tickets and he got fired from this asshole after 20 years cause of what my cousin did.

Lol, wow sounds crazy. These pricks seem to care little about the die hard fans anymore who show emotion. They only want the casual fans, business peeps, and the little ones who'd rather laugh at the mascots, and win free prizes. With shit like that incident season ticket buyers should take note.

This sounds like the CEO made a huge mistake, and I'd take every avenue possible to make sure dude got his job back or is compensated..

Your cousin a die hard? Regardless, Ive seen alot of long time fans of teams get shafted and given a hard time by security, and denial of certain seats because they show too much emotion. Especially with relation to NBA and even MLB games.

Damn! Well the Nets never really drew well, even when they had JKidd and were in the playoffs every year, so it's no surprise that they get only a few warm bodies in the stands nowadays. Who knows, maybe the CEO knew he was on the way out, what's the story with their new owner? Heard he was some weirdo Russian Billionaire or something.
