Last year i didnt get much into the draft and commentating because all there was , was highlights on guys on youtube. For example everyone jumping on the Mike Mitchell pick because of his hard hitting highlight tape. When he didnt do crap this year. Except for a few tackles on Special Teams.
This year i have noticed this website, that shows complete tape ont he guys, maybe not alot, but for a website that uses youtube as their video hosting, its impressive how much they have.
Its not only highlights but " lowlights " as well and well al kinds of plays
real helpful, last year all they had was highlights..its better this year
Nd i didnt come to freakin advertise for this guys, just thought sharing wat looks good.
ANd i saw the Jimmy Clausen tape, wow this kid is impressive, Best qb in the draft IMO.
Also Taylor Mays did not look good, i think he will fall out of the top 2 rounds..
take a look at it

For all the crap Clausen has got for not being a "winner" plus the stigma of being a Ivy-leaguer, the guy has the best sideline pass, maybe the strongest arm, and his release is almost perfect. Keeps the ball high, it doesnt nose up or sail.
If we were to pick a QB in the first round, (which we wont) I wouldnt be mad at Clausen...
But the fact remains, we are soo fucked on the lines, we could bring Drew Brees in here in he'd get killed...

he just looks like a professional amongst collegiates.
i would not be mad at all with the pick
but ofcourse get a fat boy to block him

I wouldn't touch him given our obvious issues, but I agree Claussen is a good prospect. I'd take him any day over that little fairy-boy Samuel Bradford, the first time an NFL defender hits him he'll be placed on IR.

Clausen has alot of doubters out there..but most of the games the Irish won this season was due to the fact that Clausen kept them in it..A couple of those losses they had were decided in the last minutes of the game..Bottom line is Clausen could be a sleeper as far expectations are concerned..he could be a great player to have in the huddle when the game is on the line..The Kid got his toe fucked up in a game and he refused to stay on the sideline..He shows alot of leadership and mental toughness..whomever lands him is going to be pleased at what he can accomplish..Brady Quinn still has lots to prove..Clausen is a way better QB in my opinion..I'm waiting for the NFL Combine to see how Clausen performs in the Qb Skills..from what I have seen the mock drafts have him going late in the 1st round..but it may changge after the Combine in March

I see way more in Clausen than i saw in Quinn.
Then again i never really saw much of college football back then a couple of years ago as i do now..
But Clausen shows tremendous fire and heart, and his skillset is really really up there. He has potentiol to be great in the NFL with the right team, i really like this kids mechanics.

What impresses me about the kid..is that he always has his eyes down field..very mobille in the pocket.. He's Smart..Im sure grasping the concept of a playbook is there..the kid will probably know it like the back of his hand..This in itself makes up for any lack of physical skills such as being a statue QB or having big time physical strength..His outthrows are as acurate as I ever seen.. he has excellent touch to the short passes, and he does have the arm strength to air it out a little..
Al fucking thinks you have to posess the ability to heave the fucking ball 60 yards down the field..when every other team realizes all you need is the ability to stretch the field maybe 30-40 yards at any given time..Todays defenses are too quick and physically strong..They are not going to let you do 5 step drops and throw the Bomb anymore..Al's brain cannot fathom that in the slightest..hense the problem we have right now with JaOVERTHROWS LOL..I do think Claussen with the right team is going to do well..He might be the next Drew Brees..Brees was highly doubted, and was thought of as a SYSTEM QB much like Claussen is coming out..Gonna be interesting to see which team will select him.. I think Claussen is so much better than Quinn..But Quinn is also stuck in Cleveland which is like Oakland East LOL but I will give them credit..they beat us soundly and ended on a 4 or 5 game winning streak lol

Mitchell played a lot better once he got more reps in the game. To say he didn't do anything outside of a few special teams tackles is completely inaccurate.

enough to warrant his second round selection
hell no...

He was no Jairus Byrd lol, but he blitzed with confidence, and showed improvement in the run and pass game in the limited amount of snaps he had.
Gotta consider this is a rookie who missed almost the entire camp and preseason to injury, and was buried behind Huff, Branch, and Eugene

Notre Dame isn't Ivy League. We shouldn't draft Clausen, but he's the best QB in this draft for sure.
thx fur lerning me Hill. ^

A second round selection should already be ahead of Eugene and Huff by the time the season starts.
I dont take second round selections as abench players.
They Should be starters year one.
Unless they are a real project.

Nobody WANTED Mike Mitchell there, but we got him. Luckily he looks to be a project player you can expect some real production from year 2 ala Tyvon Branch...
