HOLY $HIT...............that dude DEFINED the word BEAST tonight. IMO, he should honestly get the heisman. It's too bad Nebraska choked at the end of the game by kicking the ball out of bounds and couldn't close out the OVERRATED Longhorns. It just sucks that there's probably no chance that we can get him without trading up. The Bucs, Browns or Lions will be ALL OVER that guy. I'm so glad our worthless victories over the Bengals and Eagles which ultimately means NOTHING in the big picture, probably just cost us a chance at drafting the game changing DT that we've been craving here in Oakland for 8 years now. And since we traded our #1 away in 2011 on a washed up veteran who will probably be one and done in Oakland, we f*cked our chance of trading that pick to move up and get Suh. GOOD JOB AL!! Bad decision #8,651. You're a f*ckin genius!

That's why I say victories like the ones we had against the Eagles and Bungals are only beneficial if your team actually LEARNS something from them..................sadly..............we NEVER learn anything from any of our few victories a year, so ultimately they're pointless and only hurt our draft standing. We ALWAYS seem to be in the WRONG position come draft time, whether it's picking too high and or too low.

Well, If he isn't picked in the Top 5 then that will probably mean some team has reached for someone else....

If Suh SOMEHOW makes it past #5, I will so shocked you could knock me over with a feather. With teams like the Browns, Bucs and Lions most likely picking ahead of us, I would say we have about a 5% chance of him being passed on by all three teams. He's being touted as the best DT prospect this decade.

Even if he's on the board when the Raiders pick next draft, it's about a 5% chance they pick him.

He's a DT. Al will pick someone who runs fast and has shown he might become a good player.

LOL, that's true, I forgot we don't have anybody with a brain making our draft picks :suicide:

I sure hope Suh runs a 4.3 at the combine!!.............

That's definitely a typical Al Davis move..................and people wonder why there's a billboard specially made for him in Oakland.........

Al's ego is so big that he probably thinks the billboard is good press...

Even if he were to fall to us, what makes you think Al would take him? I have ZERO confidence that Al would take him.

edit: I didn't see the other responses, or I wouldn't have bothered...LOL.

Victories against the Bengals and Eagles actually end up being detrimental to the Raiders overall because it only reconfirms Al's delusional belief that this team is always one player away from "greatness". Al always thinks we can win with what we have because he drafted the players and for him to say that the players can't get it done would him be saying that he didn't draft the right players. Take the credit when the Raiders win, pass the blame when they lose. It's been Al's modus operandi for decades.

you guys saw him once but being an OU and big 12 guy I've seen him several times. He's double teamed EVERY game and against Colorado at times triple teamed. He reminds me a lot of Julius Peppers in how he's so disruptive.

Texas is not #2 in the country.

Colt McCoy isn't a pro QB either.

this is so true; the Raiders won today on heart and good play down the stretch with a QB that makes plays.

All these people backing their draft picks have been wrong for a long time along with Mr. Davis.

The Raiders need a lot of help but they have a few good parts but are still not a good team. Heyward Bey is a joke and was a joke pick; the Raiders are stuck with him; and Russell is a joke and i wonder if Mr. Davis will resign him.
