The Oakland Raiders benched former No. 1 overall draft pick JaMarcus Russell on Wednesday, handing the starting job to journeyman Bruce Gradkowski for the foreseeable future.

Finally some good news!!! Hopefully it means the Raiders are no longer committed to Russell as the long term solution at QB. Next up a DHB benching I hope.

DHB is probably the worst WR ever drafted in the 1st round. He has no biz in the starting lineup.

2 Walker :hide:
3 Murphy
4 Watkins :hide:
5 Higgins
6 Bey (by default)

In a clutch, NEVER throw to #6,4, and pretty much 5. Thats my depth chart on our sorry WR core.

If Bruce's Hammy wasn't Ready, Cable was going to Start Frye!!!!!! J-MINK-US is Benched Probably for the Rest of the Season!!!!!!!!!!

I hope Jastiffcus can learn something from this and not just sit on the bench crying like a bitch. He has talent but he needs to learn how to use it and become a leader of the offense.

Not with these receivers Yes With These Receivers, Grad Throws an Easier Ball to Catch!!!! Look Even DHB has 3 Catches When Bruce Plays & 3 When J-MINK-US Plays!!!!!! Thats 3 Catches in 4 Quarters With Grad & 3 Catches in 32 Quarters with J-MINK-US!!!!!!!

So does Murphy. He's not as bad as Heyward Bey but he is still terrible. Give Higgins or Walker a shot. Hell, even Watkins. On second thought, maybe not watkins lol. Like Jayel says, never throw to watkins! That int to Revis against the Jets was a horrible attempt by him. :spy:

For sure they should see what Walker can do now, at the most he could probably fight for the ball damn, I think the Raidernation should start a chant Walker Walker Walker to get him out of the dog house. I think Murphy will be okay he can at least catch and you can see he wants to learn and he is giving it his all. I think if they continue to be stupid and go with DHB they need to insist he takes off those silly gloves that look way to big on him, they look like oven mitts. Ughhh I miss Porter and Doug Gabriel haha

At least Murphy works hard. Although they say he stays up late at night before games.
