I agree that it is not the best pure liquor on the market; there are about 200 hundred other hard boozes that I prefer, but, in terms of socializing, or if you want to chill, it is probably the idea drink. I'm definately a whisky/whiskey drinker. I like good American Bourbon,... Maker's Mark, Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek, Booker's, Weller's... Irish Whiskey... Bushmills, Jameson, Tullamore... and my favorite... Scotch Single Malt Whisky... The Macallan, Ardmore, Highland Park, Bruicladich, Glenmorange, Arborlore, and quite a few more. Recently, I have aquired a taste for Absinthe... definitely some potent stuff there!

In Calexico they make them like a bloody mary...they even put a olive in it too. But they call it a Chavela....pretty damn good too

rim the glass w/lime and then some Lucas (mexican candy) or some sort of chile (hot mexican chile powder)


The Restaurant Skern and I like to go to makes them w/the Lucas but blends them with a lil ice and puts Lucas inside too..very yummy!
They call them Michelucas

Yes red stripe is good. It's a jamacain lager. If you can't find it in the grocery store just ask for it cuz normally they have it in the back.
