I would take just about any other receiver besides Maclin. Don't like how he plays...I think he'll be mostly a KR and will take time to develop into a consistent WR if he ever does.

Id stay away fro Maclin and DHB. Too many ??? for me. Go with Nicks, Robiskie, Barden, Britt before Maclin

I agree Don. It's fun to speculate but we have no fuckin clue what is going to happen, no matter how hard we try.

As for Maclin I would surely be disappointed, but I would be forced to support the decision. I'm skeptical as to weather he can develop into a legit no. 1 target and catch 60+ passes, but anything's possible.

I'm sorry I just think Maclin is going to be sh!t and shouldn't' even be taken in the 1st round. I think he's one of the most over-hyped/overrated players in this draft

I would rather NOT have Maclin, but he is definitley a 1st round prospect you're crazy if you think he isn't. By your logic he's shit and we can have him in the 2nd round, but that is not going to happen.

Once again I do not want Maclin and think his game has holes in it, but I can guarantee you 110% that all 32 teams have Maclin higher on their draft boards than Barden, and probably have 4 or 5 other WRs in between the two.

Oh I agree...but Im just saying Maclin (like you said as well) has holes in his game. I know Maclin is higher on teams boards...I'm just saying. We have JLH, who is probably better in the long run-but we dont have a move-the-chains receiver liek Curry used to be for us.

Maclin will be a good receiver but I believe he is the same type of receiver Higgins is. He is a playmaker at special teams and a #2 wide out. We need a physical go 2 guy. Picking Maclin at #7 is a little bit of a reach in my eyes. When R we going to answer this question- R we ever going to try to stop the run???? R run defense has been horrible for far to long. I don't think Maclin is the answer at #7. We will see what happens.:619:

I don't like Maclin. Its a feeling i have. Also as stated we need that possession receiver that every QB wants who also compliments the speed guys like JLH.

I feel that Maclin will be nothing more than what Dante hall turned into or at the most a JLH. I don't think he will flourish in Oakland. The best spot for him in my opinion would be Jville.
