My sources are confirming that the Raiders are shipping Micheal Bush after all.

The Raiders have been working on a package with the Cincinnati Bengals for a couple days now.

Finally, a couple hours ago, the Raiders worked out a deal to send Micheal Bush and a second round pick to Cincy for Chad Johnson.

Chad Johnson was unhappy in Cincinnati, and didn't go to camp again this year. The Bengals realized that this was going nowhere with him. In desperate need of reliable talent, they put him on the the trading block for a running back.

The Raiders felt with him on the block, Crabtree would not fall in there laps.

I got a quick minute to ask Cable about this trade, and he responded by saying this move makes them more flexible come draft day by taking care of a huge whole on offense.

He kind of gave me a sense of feeling that he's going defensive with his number seven pick.

These moves will be made public on Monday, when both players undergo physicals.

So, there you go Raider fans! You finally got your number one for Russell to throw to.

Great Trade for a great player in Johnson. He brings true veteran-ship to the wide-out position.

This is what Kushy Williams had to say about all this.

Todd France is one of my best friends who happens to be Michael Bush's Agent. I was with him today when he got the call. This was the only place i can post this big news. But whatever if you feel this way about my news, i will make sure to never post here again. I am sorry i am not a reporter, but you will see monday that this is no B.S.

When he found out the news we rushed to meet up with Bush. When we got there Tom Cable was there talking to Bush. Todd asked him why? He replied Mcfadden was the future and that he can be a number 1 there and it's better for him. Also that receiver was a big need. He explained that the trade works for both. He also said they need to stop the run. That's why i think he might pick a defender with the 7th pick. If you have problem accepting this trade then stop offending me, because i already said this is my last post.

I can believe it, tho I wish it werent true.

Why I could believe it??

1. Bush is unhappy being a no2 RB
2. Davis over-paying for a flashy 'vet' WR.
3. Them keeping Fargas purely because he's "Raider-like" over Bush.
4. Bush a possible Kiffin hold-over.

this is a lie 1st you stated

this implies you don't have first hand knowledge but heard by rumor then you stated you had 1st hand knowledge and actually talked to cable which contradict your 1st sentence also cable was at the hawaii pro day yesterday and another 1 for usc the day before its unlikely hes back yet

This sounds like the "Raider way", trade a young future star for a over the hill high priced vet trouble maker. Chad Johnson is just like Moss If you don't get him the ball he will cause problems. I hope this is not true because Bush has a very big upside and Johnson is on the way down. Don't do it Al!

I want the Raiders to add a real vertical threat but I don't know if Chad Johnson is the man for the job. This guy is getting older and has a mind of his own, he doesn't seem to be the team player Cable wants. I don't really mind if the Raiders trade Michael Bush or not (I'll catch flak for this :2guns) but I'd rather have them trade Fargas, they still have Louis Rankin sitting around and this guy impressed me last pre-season.

Rankin did look good in preseason but I'd like to see what he could do in a regular game. If we trade a RB I'd rather trade Fargus and keep Bush. Fargus has heart and runs hard but he is always hurt and is terrible in short yardage situations.

Man this would be an atrocious move, despite the fact that I think Chad would be a great fit here. There are second round WR's that can impact a game immediately, and Bush is the only pure RB we have that can play smashmouth when we go up against the stouter defenses. Plus his hands are far better than Fargas and he can throw.

This move makes no sense, because didnt Davis say stuff about getting McFad and Bush on the field at the same time? I know Bush wasnt a Cable fav. and wouldnt have sniffed a carry in the TB had there been no injuries, but damn, he was a super valueable aquisition, and our second rounder is a crucial pick this year.

Maybe they are counting on Rankin to be that third. Man, we know nada about that guy, except he's fast and elusive.

Not feelin it.

^^ That one is tough. If it was straight up for our 2nd rounder than MAYBE. We badly need a go-to WR and Johnson can still play, no doubt about it. But we did get burned last year trading away our 2nd rounder so I think we might as well keep our picks and draft a WR.

I know man and to be honest the thought is very tempting. Johnson IMO has been the scapegoat in Cincinnati but the truth is that team is a fuckin joke and always will be. In the end though I think we're better off keeping our picks.

Man, Chad Johnson is worth nothing more then a 4th rounder based off his play last season. Trading for a 31 year old WR when you can get a younger one in the draft with better potential. Chad isn't worth it.

Miklo

I wouldn't go low as a 4th Rounder, He had a off year but you got to look at the other things i think he missed like 6 games due to injury & Palmer was injured most of the year..

He's not worth trading Bush, but I think he's worthy of a third rounder.. Yes he's 31, but he is in great shape and has a pretty consistant resume.. The thing with Moss was, nobody was willing to trade for him besides the Pats. So they pretty much got to dictate their price to us. With Ocho-Cinco, it all depends on whether they are willing to trade him or not. The Bengals could just as well keep him. He will come at a much higher price. We got robbed on Moss, yes, but it was necessary unfortunately. It couldn't have ended much better for us, sadly.

lol Skern, Chad named almost every team in the league last season and he even said he would play for the Arena league.

I think I remember word for word. Chad- "Yes I will play for the Raiders yo Al...Al come get me I'll turn the black hole......white". haha

Haha Chad is a clown.. Anybody remember that one episode a few years back when Chad wanted to race a horse? I wonder how that ended? anybody know?

No. Just something that I know based upon people who have seen Chad around town. But thats not really saying anything at all.

.

According to the Oakland Tribune, Raiders owner Al Davis does not want to give up on Bush, a third-round pick out of Louisville in 2007.

Yeah, but there's a big difference. Holt is a UFA and Ochocinco is under contract...

Not buying it. Cable has been trying to clean up the locker room, not add to it.

I will not take this serious until it happens which I severely doubt.
