Hope Pacquiao dominates the competition all the way through Mayweather.

im not watching. I love boxing but its the most corrupt sport ever. Clotty beat Cotto fair and square but they just had to have this fight so...

if you ask me, the fix is already in for this fight....

look at the body of work that they built up for Pac so far...

First you got Floyd who was taken the distance by DLH.

Then Floys was taken deep into a fight by Hatton...

Pac comes along and brutalizes both of them..

Now, Cotto stands in the way of a Pac/Floyd matchup..

Pac vs Floyd would be a record breaking PPV event..

Not so sure if Cotto/Floyd would be...

but at this point... people want to see Pac and Mayweather more, way more.

PBF vs DLH was the worste fight ever. That shyt was so fixed its not even funny. They both were i it for the money period. WWE Style!!!

Why would they even bother w/ this fight when everyone is just waiting for Floyd/Pac? Is Floyd just dodging him at this point? Not sure but I'm not as impressed as everyone else with Pac's win over Hatton.

It has to happen this way.. IF he dont go through Cotto first than Floyds camp can demand some ridiculous purse split like 85/15. Because Pac would never see a purse like that without Floyd in the ring.

Shit, I think Cotto is taking 65 and Pac 35 for this fight.

And Pac is totally cool with taking 35, I'd be too if I knew a matchup with Floyd was waiting in the wings....

Which makes a fix seem even more probable...

It just sucks it would have to go down like that. I don't think Pac needs a fix to beat Cotto, but everyone has been waiting for the Floyd/Pac showdown for quite some time. Floyd's been out of the ring so long (fucking WWE doesn't count) and there just aren't any other marquee names that will draw like he can draw.

Seems like Manny always busts this shit on Freddie. I would leave his ass if I was Freddie but he's too much of a nice guy.

Ill take Manny, lets see if Cotto can deal with the hand speed. Or how much power Manny can deliver at this weight.

Cotto lasted by dancing around the ring...The dude got eaten up by Manny other than the one round he won...

First off, the sport is called "boxing" not "stand there and slug-ing" and Cotto exchanged with him plenty.. Up until the 9th round... By the 10th, he was dancing..

Manny wouldnt have gotten them weak flash knockdowns had Cotto NOT anchored down and exchanged with him..So that is not true...

This fight wasnt close, Manny handled him...

But you were completely off base with a 3rd round KO.. I never said Cotto would win, just that he would never get knocked out in the 3rd... They could fight 10 times over and he would never get knocked out in the 3rd.

In fact, the fight should have went the distance. The corner SHOULD have thrown in the towel in the 8th.. But since they didnt, it made no sense for a ref stoppage in the 12th with only 2 minutes left...That was a novelty KO.. "Oh lets give Pac the KO.... it will make the Mayweather/Pac matchup so much more sexy"

Manny's punches were cutting Cotto up but they aren't going to be enough to handle Mosley, and no way in hell will Pac beat Mayweather... The Cotto fight shows exactly how Pac has no chance against Money.

The money is already there and Mayweather is going to come out to play.

Your right the sport is called boxing..You stand in there and exchange..Once Cotto knew he couldnt counter Manny is was game over and he started to run and the fight was all but done..After the third Cotto would clinch after Mannys flurries....Cotto knew he couldnt exchange with him so he started to dance around the ring and throw a jab here and there...To me when you start dancing around the ring its pretty much conceding that you cant box with your opponent. I actually wanted Cotto to win but I knew that shxt wasnt going to happen.I was not completely off base with a knockout in the third. If I recall Cotto hit the canvas in the early rounds.

thats not a KO in the 3rd, huge difference... it wasnt close to a 3rd round KO, you said you had Pac knocking him out in the 3rd... he didnt, it wasnt even close.. in the 3rd Cotto wasnt even hurt by the knockdown... the fight went to the 12th and Cotto could have went to the bell easily.

if he wasnt hurt he wouldnt have kissed the canvas...haha...Cottos family, the doctors, and just about everyone else other than maybe you thought that the fight should have been stopped earlier than it did. He took a thorough beating and why should he have kept goin out there when he wasnt doin much but dancing...His corner even told him they would call it if he didnt do anything.

the earliest the fight should have been stopped was the 8th...

even then, not even close to a 3rd round KO
