And now Shaq claims the Blazers wanted him at the trading deadline but he didn't want to go there.

I don't buy that because half the teams in the league were tying to trade for Raef Lafrentz' expiring contract just to get cap relief, but Portland held on to him. Isn't it funny that teams were trying to trade for a guy on injury reserve, and offering up good players (Vince and Richard Jefferson were rumoured), but got turned down?

There are maybe 10-12 teams in the league trying to win, and the rest of them are desperately trying to dump payroll.
