6 days away..hopin' the kings come away with a solid PG.
i'll be happy with rubio and flynn.
don't know much about tyreke evans and i'm weary of jrue holliday becoming the 2nd coming of r. westrbook..don't think lightning can strike 2x you know?

while on the topic of westbrook, if the grizz pick thabeet 2, can OKC pass on rubio at 3? 2 back to pack top 5 picks on PGs, can they make it work?

We are six days from the worst day of Blake Griffin's life.

Going to Clippers. I hope the Clips past on the kid and take a guard instead.

This is a very weak draft class...

I see a lot of guys with some limitations, especially the guard play...

No way in hell should the UCONN big go #2. You can find a pure low post defender later in the draft.... Not a big buyer of UCONN's big...

Haha, no doubt..

At least he'll able to afford a nice pad on the beach if he feels so inclined... That's ONE step up from living in Oklahoma I would think.. Other than that, he's fucked..

We got three picks in this draft, and I got NO idea who they're even looking at.. The NBA draft is in a different galaxy from the NFL draft.. Maybe 'cause our team is almost NEVER in the lottery portion of it anyway.. Only twice in the history of the lottery..

I hope there's a guard at the end of round 1 for the Lakers to take, they're pretty good everywhere else if Odom and Ariza sign.

Memphis is under a lot of pressure to get a big so they probably have to take Thabeet.

Sacramento's got some nice options @ 4. Evans, Harden, maybe Rubio.

I think we are looking at either guard, or just a guy who can come off the bench and score.

We should trade down to #3 and take Rubio. I think this kid is going to be great. He'll have some chemistry with Pau, too...

It's insane how much different the NBA draft is compared to the NFL.

This year's class is very, very weak. Probably the worst since 2000 when K-Mart went 1st and was followed by ultra-superstars like Stromile Swift, Marcus Fizer, Darius Miles and Joel "The Ghostface" Pryzbilla.

After Blake Griffin there isn't anybody that really stands out. I think Rubio is all hype and people also forget that his rights still belong to his Spanish club and there's a chance he might not be able to get out of his contract. Stephen Curry has a great shot but he's very undersized for the 2 guard position.

My Raptors are picking 9th and I have no fuckin clue what to expect. I think James Harden from ASU is a really nice player but he won't be there 9th. The kid from USC has a ton of talent but I hear he's a knucklehead. Who knows.

Also I wouldn't sleep on Dejaun Blair. He's not rated as high as others but he whooped Hasheem Thabeet when PITT played UCONN this year. A finesse team in need of a roughneck type rebounder/low-post player might end up very happy with him. He's a little short for the 4 position but I still think he can play at the next level.

i'm hopin petrie passes on harden..sac doesn't need anymore 2 or 3 swing players.
got garcia, martin, nocionio, greene..

hopin the 2 first round picks are dedicated to a 1 and a 4.
i'd be fuckin ecstatic if for some God forsaken reason blair dropped to 23, or w/e the kings 2nd 1st rounder is

How?

Proven player (Farmar or Brown) and picks...

picks in the NBA aren't as valuable as they are in the NFL, imo.

and farmar and brown are far from proven..you need more than that and the last pick of the 1st round or w/e the lakers have to even think about movin up to get rubio

Farmar has played significant minutes in the postseason two years in a row. Brown is still somewhat unproven, but he has shown signs.

I don't think we'll be able to get up high enough to take Rubio. Just wishful thinking on my part...

This draft is way too deep for Farmar + draft picks to get a #3 overall. That's unrealistic. And Brown is a free agent and would carry less value than Farmar anyway.

I don't think this draft is that deep. FOR LA, i think Mitch and some of our top scouts would probably be looking to add a pure shooter, a scorer, and maybe a 4/5 player...

Are you content with Farmar at PG? Fish only has a couple years left...

There's really nothing the Lakers can do about the PG situation with the new salary cap restrictions and the high picks in the draft. If the keep the current team together it won't matter. They can win with Farmar for now.
