What do you guys think of this guy, I don't know too much about him.

Barden had a private interview with the Raiders at his Pro Day workout. He declined to give details, but The Chronicle has confirmed he has been in contact with Raiders wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal several times now.
The Raiders also recently contacted his college coach to find out more about the small-school standout. They interviewed him at the Senior Bowl. They interviewed him at the NFL Combine. A far as due diligence goes, they're all over it.
If they want Barden, they'll most likely have to use their eighth overall pick of the second round. The only way they do that is if they don't draft a wide receiver like Texas Tech's Michael Crabtree or Missouri's Jeremy Maclin in the first round.
This could have big implications of who we take in the first round....

Probably insurance in case Crabtree's off the board when we pick...or a smokescreen

i don't think you should let somebody who MIGHT be available in the 2nd round dictate who your first round choice is gonna be..too big of a gamble, IMO

most people say he will probably go in the third round, but I agree. I don't think it should dictate. Plus, I thought we already had our big receiver in Schilens.

Dude is a projected 3rd-4th round pick. I would rather have Robiskie in 2nd.
Barden is a serious project as a three down WR, but an excellent prospect as a red zone jump ball target at 6'6". IF you look at his films he is catching all lobs, no timed prescision routes. IT would be a huge mistake to pass up on a 2nd round talent like Robiskie or Britt, who could handle the rigors of soaking up a whole playbook and producing day 1. . However, if he somehow made it to the fourth, I think you take him.

We keep it mad hush, Boom. I know we peeped out Mack, and that Cal line backer. We interviewed Barden at the Senior Bowl. We brought in the Wake forest safety and a couple of other WF players. Thats all I know of off the top

:rofl
big? sure Schillens is 6'4 but Barden has been way more productive coming out of college and is 6'6. I'm really hoping he is a Raider come draft day.

A player that is projected to go in the 4th round means he will probably be selected in the 2nd round by us. And thats not even a joke.

Barden is going to be a good receiver in the NFL. I'd take him over Maclin, Bey, and Britt any day. He reminds me a little of Plaxico

based off where he could go in this league if he works at it maybe he can be better than all those but yeah that's a funny comment.

He's a project. He'll take some time but he has the physical tools to be a great WR. I wanted him picked in the third round last year if I'm not mistaken.
Maclin is a Raider, right?
